Caroline Volel, MD, MPH, LP
Caroline Volel is a board certified Pediatrician trained in Preventive Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical School and Columbia Mailman School of Public Health. She has spent her career working as a clinician in residential mental health facilities for children & adolescents. She completed her analytic training at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy in Manhattan. Following a 20 year academic career in Public Health with NYC public schools, she now works full-time as an Attending Physician on the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry units of Bellevue Hospital. Privately, Dr. Volel works psychoanalytically with adult clients.
